Cemetery Mapping:
The mapping of existing cemeteries including the generation of digital and paper maps and GIS systems. Mapping includes both surface mapping using differential GPS and subsurface mapping using advanced geophysical techniques (Ground penetrating radar, electromagnetics, and magnetometers etc).
Burial Mapping:
The investigation of unknown sites for suspected burials, where Cemetery records are either unreliable or not available as well as undocumented Urupa sites, and suspected crime sites.
Site ground conditions investigation:
The geologic, hydro geologic and engineering geology investigation of sites for the use as cemeteries including the proposed extension of pre-existing cemeteries. The investigation of leachate plumes and subsurface pollution due to existing sites where burials have taken place, and could include both human and animal remains.
Project management:
Assisting with the planning of new cemeteries for regional, local and district councils, from the initial "scope of work" through to the final design stage preparatory to going out to tender for construction.
